FSM-US Mid-Joint Committee Meeting held at JRM
ASAN, Guam—Joint Region Marianas hosted a delegation from the Federated States of Micronesia as well as the U.S. Ambassador to FSM to provide a defense and security update called a mid-Joint Committee Meeting on April 29 at JRM Headquarters.
The working-level meeting was held in preparation for a Joint Committee Meeting later this year to be held in Pohnpei. This is the first time a meeting like this has been held in Guam.

Rear Adm. Bette Bolivar, the U.S. Defense Representative for FSM, the Republic of Palau, Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, welcomed the group Wednesday morning.
FSM’s delegation included Deputy Secretary of Foreign Affairs Samson Pretrick, Ambassador to the U.S. Asterio Takesy, the President’s Chief of Staff Leo Falcam Jr., Secretary of Justice April Skilling, Governor of Chuuk Johnson Elimo, Lt. Gov. of Pohnpei Marcelo Peterson and Lt. Gov. of Yap, James Yangetmai.
The lead American representative was U.S. Ambassador to FSM Doria Rosen. (JRM)
