The gold medal for 3-5 division went to GCA’s 5th grade student Min Hyeok “Steven” Ha, who also won first place during the pre-regionals.

In the K-2 division, GCA 2nd grader Miku Kimura took home the bronze medal. Other students from kindergarten to fifth grade also placed third and fourth in the room rounds.

The CNMI Mathcourt Competition is a series of meets that occur throughout the school year. At each meet, several tests are offered to measure the mathematical achievement of students at every grade level and award those students showing the highest levels of mastery at each level. Over 900 kindergarten to 5th grade students competed in this school year’s Mathcourt regional competition.
