IT&E lowers long distance call rate to Nepal

Share

With the heartbreaking devastation caused by the recent earthquake in Nepal, IT&E is now offering for a limited time to the entire CNMI community a discounted rate of $0.25 per minute for all long distance calls to Nepal.

From now until June 5, 2015, IT&E customers who want to contact family or friends in Nepal can do so without having to pay the regular rate. The discounted rate is available to IT&E customers on their landlines, postpaid and prepaid cell phones, and using IT&E long distance cards.

Nepal’s infrastructure, including the country’s phone network, is still recovering. Callers should be aware that this may hamper your calling efforts.

IT&E CNMI general manager Rose A. Soledad said: “IT&E stands by its commitment to support the people when unforeseen circumstances can cause substantial damage or hinder the quality of life. After all, we are all a part of this community.”
