7th Piano Concert to benefit Chuuk kids

Yonsei Academy will be hosting its 7th Piano Concert, this time as a fundraising effort for children in Chuuk who were affected by Typhoon Maysak.

The piano concert will be held on May 2, 2015, a Saturday, at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center.

Section I featuring 1st to 8th grade students will start at 5pm; Section II featuring 9th to 12th grade students will start at 7pm. Section II will also feature Guam TBMF gold medalists, a piano battle, CHC music volunteers, Saipan Junior Choir.

The concert ticket costs $5 and can be purchased at the entrance door on that day.

At previous fundraising concerts, the school raised $1,454 for PSS in 2012 and $625 for typhoon victims in the Philippines in 2014.

The main purposes for Yonsei Academy concert is to improve students musical talents, encourage creativity, and “Learn to Give” by donating to those in need. (Yonsei)
