Braves cop Majors division pennant
The Natibu Sports Association Braves made short work of the Jets, 22-2, to clinch the pennant in the Majors division of the Saipan Little League last Saturday at the Miguel Basa Pangelinan ball field.

Steven Keleleman pitched a one-hitter with seven strikeouts and the Braves used a 17-run first inning to secure their 11th win in 12 games and the top ranking heading into the playoffs round.
He went 2-for-3 with two runs while Vicente Camacho II had a pair of RBI singles to drive in three runs and scored four for the Braves, who capitalized on the Jets’ 14 errors.
Antonio Norita had a double and three runs going 3-for-3, while Anthony Dison rounded the bases four times.
Elijah Hayfield and Charles McDonald, who both walked, scored the Jets’ two runs in the first and fourth innings, respectively.
Falcons 6, Comets 2
Kyle Kapileo and Zach Reyes combined for three hits 10 strikeouts and four walks for the Falcons.
Michael Tomokane, with one out in the bottom of the second, walked and stole second base. He moved into scoring position on an Isiah Tegita single and touched home plate on Aven Evangelista’s RBI single.
Kapileo struck out and Reyes had a two-RBI single to make it 5-1 for the Falcons.
Kagboys 15, Little Padres 1
J.P. Celi had a two-RBI triple while Tommy Agulto scored three runs and the Kagboys had a pair of six-run innings for the easy win.
Celis went 2-for-3 and scored three runs while Agulto also had a triple in the third inning.
Justin Agulto and A.J. Sanchez held the Padres to three hits, while striking out 10 and walking three.
Tarrance Babauta blasted an inside-the-park home run, a solo shot in the bottom of the fourth for the Padres, who committed 15 errors. (Jon Perez)
