Bordallo visits Guam cadets at West Point
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Delegate Madeleine Z. Bordallo (D-GU) recently visited cadets from Guam who are currently enrolled at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York. Two cadets from Guam, Angelo Martinez and Anthony Chargualaf, are currently attending West Point in preparation for their service in the U.S. Army. She also met with Lt. Gen. Robert L. Caslen, Jr., Superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy, prior to joining Martinez and Chargualaf for lunch.

“I enjoyed meeting with our cadets from Guam who are attending the U.S. Military Academy at West Point,” said Bordallo. “Cadet Angelo Martinez and Cadet Anthony Chargualaf are working hard to complete their training at West Point and are focused on becoming officers in the U.S. Army. I encouraged them to keep up their good work. I hope that young men and women from Guam will consider attending West Point as a path to commissioning as officers in the U.S. Army. I look forward to Cadet Martinez’s and Cadet Chargualaf’s successful graduation from West Point and their service to our nation as leaders.” (PR)
