The tournament, the Foundation’s signature event, aims to raise critical funds to support NMC’s academic programs and services.

“I would like to thank all of this year’s corporate sponsors for their support,” said Eileen Babauta, who is part of the organizing committee that is planning the tournament. “All the proceeds of the tournament will go to the NMC Foundation, which is charged with the mission of supporting our great community college.”

Other hole-in-one prizes include $10,000 sponsored by Marianas Insurance Co. and a $5,000 prize from Pacifica Insurance Underwriters. Cash prizes of $500, $300, and $200 will also be awarded to first, second, and third place finishers of each flight category.

The tournament will be held at Saipan Laolao Bay Golf & Resort tomorrow, April 18, 2015, with a shotgun start at 7am and will follow a medal play format. There will be six separate flight categories: Championship, A, B, C, seniors, and ladies. The entrance fee is $95 per player. (NMC)
