Full scale disaster exercise at Saipan airport

The Commonwealth Ports Authority, in coordination with the CNMI Homeland Security and Emergency Management and in partnership with local and federal response agencies, will be conducting an Airport Disaster Full Scale Exercise today, April 16, 2015, at the Francisco C. Ada/Saipan International Airport.

The purpose of the exercise is to create a condition to reinforce interoperability among local and federal partners. This will also serve as an interagency and multiagency exercise at the Saipan International Airport to maintain operational response procedures during an airport incident.

As part of the exercise, the southern area (see map) of the Saipan International Airport will be closed to the public between 5pm and 10pm today, April 16, 2015.  (CPA)

As part of the exercise, the southern area of the Saipan International Airport will be closed to the general public between the hours of 5pm and 10pm today.
