COTA presents its State Management Plan

The Section 5311 State Management Plan is intended to facilitate both state management and Federal Transportation Authority oversight by documenting the state’s procedures and policies for administering the Section 5311 program. The SMP is useful to the state as well as to contractors and FTA. It is the primary basis for FTA’s review of the state’s program, and provides public information on the state’s administration of the Section 5311 program.

In our community, public transportation is making a real difference in the daily lives of individuals and households. For some, it provides a choice; for others it is a necessity. It connects people with health care, education, work, shopping, recreational activities, or with friends and family.

COTA’s State Management Plan is now available for review and public input. Persons interested may pick up a copy at the COTA office on the second floor of the NMIRF Building on Capital Hill, Saipan.
