Enforcers make it two vs Red Sox

Rangamar went 3-for-3 with a double in the third inning, scored three times, and had one RBI as the Enforcers made it two in a row against the Red Sox.
The Enforcers also defeated the Red Sox in another match cut short by the mercy rule, 16-2.
Maratita lasted five innings against the Red Sox on Saturday giving up two earned runs on five hits with one strikeout and three walks. He had plenty of help from the defense, who was busy catching fly balls and completing putout plays.
Maratita also pitched for five innings in the Enforcers’ win over the same last week giving up a three-hit game with two earned runs, fanning six while walking six more.
Ignacio Mendiola’s inside-the-park homerun highlighted the Enforcers’ seven-run sixth inning against the Red Sox last week.
SENIORS
Red Sox 16, Braves 0
The Red Sox bounced back with consecutive shutout wins over the Braves in both Saturday matches. They coasted to a 5-0 decision last week and followed it up with a 16-0 mauling on Saturday.
Nate Camacho pitched one-hit in five shutout innings on March 21 with 10 strikeouts and one walk. Richard Atalig preserved the win in the fifth striking out lead-off batter Benen Iguel.
He then gave up an infield single to Keuni Kannoa, but the latter was tagged out in a 2-4 putout play while attempting to steal second base. Atalig then walked Frankie Lifoifoi, who stole second.
Atalig left Lifoifoi stranded on base after forcing Logan Martin to ground out on second for a 4-3 putout play.
Last week, Craig Aguon surrendered two hits in six innings in the start, striking out nine and walking three in the Red Sox’s 5-0 win last week.
Comets 16, Fielders 6
Franko Nakamura went 5-for-5 with one run, and two RBIs and was a home run short of making the cycle in the shortened game. He singled in the first, fourth, and sixth, doubled in the second, and tripled in the third.
David Cruz and Aurel Mendiola shared pitching duties for the Comets, surrendering a combined four earned runs on five hits with four strikeouts and three walks.
Ton Ilo’s inside-the-park homerun in the first inning, and an 11-run second had the Comets zooming to a 24-2 win over the Fielders.
Lorenzo Sebakim had two triples in the second and third innings, respectively.
In the Big League division, the Fielders escaped with a 9-8 decision over the Padres last Tuesday, March 17, with Jose Lizama surrendering five earned runs on seven hits with seven strikeouts and four walks.
