Jehn Joyner and Joe Miller scored two goals apiece in MP United’s shutout of Tan Holdings, which ended its five-game winning run. Despite the loss, Tan Holdings remains at the top of Division 1 with its 5-0-1 win-draw-loss record, while MP United improved to a 3-1-1 slate to keep the No. 3 ranking in its group, just one victory behind the second-running Wild Bill’s (4-0-2). Paire (2-0-3), Inter Godfather’s (1-1-3), and Korean Football Association (0-0-5) complete the standings, which did not have much changes as last Sunday’s matches were called off due to Tropical Storm Bavi.

In the other game last week, Sun Palace edged Kanoa Resort, 2-1.

Sun Palace notched only its second win in five games, while handing Kanoa its second defeat also in five matches in Division 2

Jun Sik Kim canned the pair of goals for Sun Palace, as he hit the board in the 21st and 25th minute. Kanoa scored the first goal in the match off Davy Laxa’s shot in the 10th minute.
Kanoa returned to the pitch last Wednesday and regrouped quickly following a 1-0 triumph over the Thundercats. Jae Kwang Oh registered the only goal in the match, as he found the back of the net in the second half.
