Masga defeated Guam’s Scotty “Da Slaya” Eclavea (3-2) by rear-naked choke submission in the third round to improve his fight record to 6-1 with four of his wins by way of submission.

It was an early birthday gift for Masga as he will turn 21 years old on March 19. He debuted with a unanimous decision win over McKlane Alfred in PXC 45 last year.

It was a sorry day for the Marianas though, as Camacho suffered a first round loss to Japanese shooto champion Yusuke Kasuya by rear-naked choke submission. He dropped to 15-3 while Kasuya improved to 9-1-2.

Camacho, on his Facebook post, said that it was a humbling experience and he will use the loss as a lesson.

“I was served a huge martial arts lesson this past Friday. Very humbling. And I know it’s well needed results for the future,” said Camacho.

“Lesson: No martial art is greater than the other. They are equally as powerful and each individual must be seeking to be on the constant hunt to learn. I was on the losing end of the stick.”

Camacho added that his biggest challenge is to bounce back after a loss. “Now the challenge is to turn this loss in the cage into a bigger win in life and of course my career.”

He also thanked his family, friends, and fans for all their love and support, and always there through thick and thin.
