‘15 Saipan Sportsfest welcomes volunteers for upcoming events

Volunteers are needed for the upcoming Saipan Sportsfest, including the Tagaman Triathlon on March 22 and the XTERRA Saipan Championship on March 28.

“We have a variety of volunteer positions, and we would encourage anyone interested in helping out with either the Tagaman or the XTERRA Saipan Championship to contact us,” said race director Eric Tydingco.

Those interested in volunteering for either race can send their contact information and preferred volunteer assignment to meet@pivot24.com or call 1671-482-7933.

Volunteer positions include bike and run course marshals, transition area assistance, water/aid stations, and general logistics.

A volunteer briefing will be held prior to the race, and race staff is asking that volunteers attend for important race information. The briefing for Tagaman will be held on March 19 and the XTERRA Saipan volunteer briefing will be held on March 26. Both briefings will begin at 5:30pm at the Marianas Visitors Authority office in San Jose. (PR)
