Since the Jan. 12 launching of Scratch, Win and Fight Cancer fundraiser, the Commonwealth Cancer Association, in partnership with Joeten Markets, has realized great success through the strong support of the community. The first ever “Scratch, Win, and Fight Cancer” fundraiser brought the community together in support of the CCA in raising funds for its programs and services.

Scratch, Win and Fight Cancer tickets, which will continue to be sold through April 12, 2015, have so far seen an overwhelming number of tickets sold through the Joeten stores. Play to win cash prizes have been realized and a lucky person recently won $500 cash. The tickets continue to be sold at each expanded sites to include Ace Hardware stores in Gualo Rai, Susupe, and San Vicente. All proceeds from the sales of these tickets will benefit the Commonwealth Cancer Association.

Joeten is a proud partner of CCA and this is its latest effort to help the non-profit organization achieve its mission.

CCA president Lauri Ogumoro thanked Joeten, noting that their “untiring support to raise funds for the CCA speaks of the outstanding partnership and commitment to the CCA effectiveness and outreach.”

With every $1 purchase, you’re helping those families, friends and community members who have been touched by cancer. Please continue to Join the fight, please join Joeten Enterprises and CCA in raising funds for this much needed assistance to our community.

The CCA board of directors extends its profound gratitude to the Joeten family, friends, and the members of the community for buying tickets. The board also recognizes and extends a heartfelt appreciation to everyone for their commitment and patronage.
