Tobacco smoke kills people
It’s about time someone heard us. My nephew’s wife, who works in the casino, inhaled tobacco in her work. She lost her baby and she’ll never know if this might be the cause of the child’s death, but I’m pretty sure it is. My sister-in-law died of a major heart attack in a poker establishment. Her children too might never know if she is a possible victim of secondhand smoking because the doctors here never order an autopsy for secondhand smoking for the cause of death.
Many of the states are already enforcing this law because smoking tobacco kills people. I believe this because I’m a victim of secondhand smoking and there is no public education as to where I can seek help for the damage that has been done to my health by some of these tobacco smokers. They are mean and have an attitude of a second-degree murderer. I need to know where I can seek legal help because I don’t have medical insurance and I sure want to sue or have these people pay my hospital bills for damaging my health.
Had DPH done their job to educate the community by posters, media, newspapers, schools and public places, this wouldn’t have happened.
Everyone in this community needs to know that tobacco kills people. The Division of Youth Services has neglected to enforce smoke-free air for children whose parents are smoking. In the state of Hawaii, a parent who smokes next to her child can get arrested and put in jail with a $200 fine. An establishment caught allowing it gets an $800 fine, plus they are made to pay for the victim’s hospital bills and all others expenses applicable to the damage.
Smokers need to know that tobacco can cause heart attacks, asthma, and many others health damage. You might be responsible for the death of a family member and never know it.
