UFO caging meeting today
Representatives of teams participating in the 2015 United Filipino Organization Basketball League are requested to attend a meeting tonight at 6pm at JHEM’s Restaurant.
Details of the opening day, which has been moved to March 15, tournament and ground rules, and other important matters will be discussed at the meeting.
This year’s UFO caging will hold competitions in four divisions: Open, Masters, U15, and U20. Seven teams have already signed up for the Masters division, while the Open category has lured six. The youth division has seven teams with the U15 drawing four and U20 getting three. The league is only accepting a maximum of eight squads per division.
Each team is required to submit only a 12-player roster and settle the following registration fees: $600 for Open, $550 for Masteers, $400 in U20, and $350 in U15.
Squads playing in the opening day will be determined via raffle drawing with the first match featuring teams in the U15 division. The Masters division game is next, followed by the U21, and Open categories.
