Rack ‘N’ Roll regains Thursday League lead
Abyss Rack ‘N’ Roll regained the lead in the Budweiser-Saipan Billiards Association Thursday 8-Ball League.

Jerry Soriano won all three matches he played to help the Abyss-backed squad to a 9-6 decision over Jonny’s Team SCS.
Rack ‘N’ Roll now holds a 20-10 record after three weeks of action to enjoy a two-game advantage over the Jokers Homeboyz (18-12).
The Homeboyz dropped to second after absorbing an 8-7 loss to the Barcode Hobbies Deadshot.
Marc Brian Nelvis and Frankie Blas, with their match-up tied at 7-7, delivered the win for the Deadshot after beating Nolan Cultura and Rolly Villanueva in the final partners 8-Ball event.
In other Thursday League games, the Abyss Titans also scored a 9-6 win over Route 33 Alamo Car Rental, while Wild Bill’s breezed to a 12-3 victory against Smoke Pub Magic 8 Ball and the Barcode Breakers squeezed out an 8-7 triumph over the Jokers Wonderpool Aces.
In Week 3 action in the Tuesday League last Feb. 17, the Smoke Pub Armatech Hustlers and the Abyss Homeboyz II both escaped with 8-7 decisions over the Jokers Str8 Shooters and the Abyss Crazy 8, respectively, while the Smoke Pub Destroyers ambushed leaders Jokers IT&E Voyagers, 10-5.
The Voyagers, despite the loss, remained on top of the standings with a 21-9 slate followed by the 15-15 records of the Crazy 8 and Hustlers. The Str8 Shooters (14-16), Destroyers (13-17), and Homeboyz II (12-18) complete the standings.
Action continues tomorrow with the Voyagers battling the Hustlers, the Destroyers take on Crazy 8, while the Homeboyz collide with the Str8 Shooters.
In the Thursday League on Feb. 26, the Deadshot clash with the Wonderpool Aces, Magic 8 Ball faces the Rack ‘N Roll, the Homeboyz meets Alamo Car Rental, the Titans battle Wild Bills, and Team SCS takes on the Barcode Breakers.
