All set for Genesis Cup opening
It’s all system go for the returning Genesis Cup as organizers ironed out the final details for the opening of the Christian Churches Inter-Color Basketball League in a meeting yesterday at the JIL Church.

Participating teams agreed to a 3pm opening ceremony this Sunday at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.
Eight teams will be vying for the championship, including defending champion Daniel, which defeated Isaiah in the finals of last edition of the league in 2008 before it took a six-year hiatus.
Schedule of the opening games will be announced later, while succeeding matches will take place every Monday and Friday, starting at 6pm.
This season’s participating teams are made up of church members from JIL, Cornerstone Christian Church, Grace Christian, Saipan Community Church, Filipino Community Church, Life in the Son, Upper Room International Ministry, Marianas Christian Church, Victorious Christian Church, Saipan Bible Fellowship, Christian Bible Fellowship, and Marianas Bible Fellowship Center.
