Navy Hill’s Grace Christian Assembly hosted its inaugural Fun Run, Walk, and Bike fundraiser in an effort to raise money for the church’s plan to build a GCA church in Tanapag.

According to Fun Run coordinator Becky Robles, 125 people took part in last week’s two-hour event, which raised over $800 .

A raffle drawing also took place. Rueben Bachica won the $50 Tony Roma’s grand prize certificate.

“I would like to extend a big thank you to all the volunteers, participants and sponsors. They helped with logistics, registration, water, tents, transporting supplies, and providing raffle prizes,” she told Saipan Tribune.

“We hope to host another one later this year for the school to raise funds to improve the volleyball court,” she added.
