Co-ed grass v’ball tournament Saturday

Two-person teams are invited to join this Saturday’s NMIVA Reverse Co-ed Grass Tournament at the Navy Hill court.

Registration starts at 7:30am on the day of the event and is open to players 18 years old and above. Games start at 8am until sundown.

The entrance fee is $25 per player and proceeds, after all the expenses, will benefit the Northern Mariana Islands Volleyball Association’s youth development programs and fund the planned overseas trip of the CNMI national teams.

Games are unique since the nets are set at women’s height that’s why male players are not allowed to spike in front of a chalked 10-foot line designated on each side of the court. Men also cannot jump serve.
