Grace Christian Assembly celebrates 30 years
After more than a quarter century of ministry in the Northern Marianas, Grace Christian Assembly celebrates its 30th anniversary of ministry in the Northern Marianas this year with a series of activities planned for January and February 2015.
An anniversary service will be held on Sunday, Feb 1, 2015, at GCA on Navy Hill at 9am. Leading up to the anniversary service, a walk/run/ride-a-thon will be held on Jan. 24, 2015, and a celebratory concert will be held at American Memorial Park on Jan. 30, 2015.
Grace Christian Assembly has churches on Navy Hill, in Kagman, and San Antonio, with a new congregation forming in Tanapag.
The Fun Run, Walk & Ride will be held to raise funds for the new church in Tanapag. The start and finish will be at Banzai Cliff. Participants may join one or more categories: 3K walk, 5K run, or 10K bike ride. Registration by Jan. 23 is $5, and registration will be $8 on event day. Registration on event day is at 5:30am, with a start time of 6:30am. Combined registration for the event and an anniversary T-shirt is $15.
