On Saturday the students will be enjoying a swim at the Pacific Islands Club. On Sunday they will spend time with their host family and learn the island’s culture. On Monday, the students will visit Managaha Island and have a “sayonara” party in the evening. The students will then leave on Tuesday morning.

In related news, Sanpo En is planning a Japan trip from Feb. 4 to 10 next year, according to mayor’s office cultural exchange program coordinator and mayor’s executive assistant Yuki Kishimoto.

Kishimoto said that 12 students and three chaperones are being invited, along with the mayor and one translator.
