The Compassionate Friends of Saipan would like to thank all people who planned, donated to, attended, supported or participated in our Candle Lighting Remembrance Program on Sunday, Dec. 14.

This was the 3rd annual Candle Lighting Remembrance Program on Saipan, and was a part of The Compassionate Friends’ (“TCF,” http://www.compassionatefriends.org/home.aspx) 18th Annual Worldwide Candle Lighting Service. Approximately 140 candles were lit in remembrance of our loved ones who were “gone too soon.” Over 60 children and siblings were honored with a candle and gentle memories, and another 15 attendees were there to honor and remember their loved ones.

With much appreciation, we would like to specifically thank the CNMI Department of Lands and Natural Resources, Division of Parks & Recreation, Marianas Variety, Saipan Tribune, Tina Palacios and Sorensen Media Saipan, Jillian Angeline and KSPN Channel 2, Rovel Tolentino Caberos and KWAW – Magic 100.3 FM, Docomo Pacific, Larry Lee for his wonderful music, Blossoms Floral Shop, Thomas Lee A. Manglona II and the junior class of Mt. Carmel School for their invaluable assistance, Takeo and Maggie George, the Benjamin family, Lou Kisa, Coconut Scanning Services, Inc., Soroptimist International – Northern Mariana Islands, Reps. Ray Tebuteb, Edmund Villagomez, Anthony Benavente and Antonio Agulto, Bridge Capital, LLC, employees of GPPC, Lynn Corella, John Fraser, Marcia Schultz, Barbara Sher and Lorna Arcega and family.
