Bridge Capital LLC, Docomo Pacific, I Love Saipan, and the Marianas Visitors Authority recently donated cash and in-kind items to Operation Homefront Support, which is putting together care packages that would be sent to CNMI servicemembers who are currently deployed off island.

Bridge Capital and Docomo Pacific each donated $1,000 cash that will be used to buy postage stamps for the care packages. AC Pacific LLC, which operates the I Love Saipan store, donated I Love Saipan T-shirts, while MVA donated 300 Saipan maps.

All four groups made their donations on Dec. 3.

“The donations so far have been coming so we should be receiving our last tomorrow. We will still be receiving donations today, Friday,” said Operation Homefront Support organizer Nola Hix.

The care packages will be put together on Dec. 6 at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe, from 8am to 10am.

Those interested in donating to the Operation Homefront Support may call Hix at 989-6552 or email her at nola.hix@gmail.com.
