Sixteen young boys will be vying for the United Filipino Organization’s “That’s My Boy” competition this Dec. 14 at the Saipan World Resort.
UFO president Annamae Adaza said these 16 boys will showcase their talent and everyone was excited to join the competition.
“Even on the first day of the rehearsal, they were interested. They are into dancing, singing, and some will play musical instruments for the talent side of the competition,” she said.
The young boys will be competing in four categories: production number, talent portion, formal wear, and question-and-answer portion.
The top winner will get $500, the second place winner will get $400, third place will get $300, fourth place will get $200, and the fifth placer will get $100.
Aside from the major awards, special awards will be handed out as well. These include That’s My Boy Friendship, Most Photogenic, Star Award, Best in Talent, Best in Formal Wear, Spirit Award, and Charity Award.
All participants will also receive certificates of participation and other consolation prizes.
“So far we have one major sponsor, Docomo Pacific, but we are still looking for sponsors and donors so if you are willing to donate or sponsor, please contact UFO,” Adaza said.
