The Rose Dance School turns 5 years old and will be celebrating at the Saipan World Resort tomorrow, Nov. 22, from 6pm to 10pm.

Rose Dance School owner Carol Wong-Chan said this year’s celebration will be held at the Royal Taga Hall, with an entrance fee of $25.

“We will have many performances for an hour,” Wong-Chan said.

Saturday night’s event will be highlighted by performances featuring all kinds of ballroom dances taught at the school, including swing, cha-cha, samba, Argentina tango, boogie, and salsa.

She urges anyone who wants to learn ballroom dancing to enroll.

“We are the only ballroom dance school here on Saipan,” she said. “It will be great to have children join us so having the celebration will showcase and hopefully interest some new students.”

Rose Dance School opened in 2009. It is located on the second floor of the Canton Restaurant. Classes are every Friday from 6pm to 7pm.
