The tour participants represented Hana Tour, Mode Tour, KRT, Interpark, Bomul Tour, Lotte Tour, Lotte JTB, Redcap Tour, Very Good Tour, and Asiana Airlines.

The group made inspections of Laolao Bay Golf & Resort, Coral Ocean Golf Resort, Pacific Islands Club Saipan, World Resort, Fiesta Resort & Spa, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Mariana Resort & Spa, Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino, Aqua Resort Club, T Galleria, and Hard Rock Café. An island tour of Tinian was also made. Accommodations were provided by Laolao Bay Golf & Resort and Tinian Dynasty. The group also took time for a brainstorming and discussion session on the development of new tour packages for the islands.

“With the increase in direct flights in October 2014 from Korea to the NMI, this is an excellent time to host FAM tours for travel agents to help build demand,” said MVA Marketing Manager Bruce Bateman.

The NMI expects to see a small increase in the number of visitors from Korea this year based on flights availability and the country’s healthy economy. (MVA)
