AMP to host 5th Trunk or Treat on Oct. 31
The American Memorial Park will host the 5th Annual Trunk or Treat on Oct. 31, 2011, from 4pm to 7pm, at the Visitor Center parking lot.
This event is an opportunity for CNMI families to gather in a safe place for trick-or-treating. Music will be provided by the Pacific Winds/Manta Ray Orchestras.
Interested companies, organizations, families, and groups are invited to participate. Contact Ranger Susan Fishman-Tudor at (670) 234-7207 or 2020 or fax 234-7211 to signify your interest.
Participants will park their vehicles in the lot and open their trunks to give out candy and other Halloween goodies. Each family or group may decorate their trunk and the area around their vehicle with appropriate Halloween decorations.
This year’s theme is “Recyghoul Material.” Costumes and vehicle decorations should be made of recycled materials. There will be a special prize for the best decorated trunk. Participants must provide their own goodies. There will also be free spooky films in the Visitor Center auditorium. Alcoholic beverages and fires of any kind are prohibited.
