Rep. Larry Deleon Guerrero endorses HY
Rep. Lorenzo “Larry” Deleon Guerrero continues his support for the Hofschneider-Yumul team by formally endorsing them.
“The fundamental thing I endorse is that they believe that the people are the principle in the government,” Deleon Guerrero said. “They pledged that their administration will be one that is by and for the people. They have seen the state that some people are living in while on the campaign trail and they will work to help improve the CNMI.”
Deleon Guerrero is in favor of their plans for our energy crisis. “They pledged to have a better utility system in place within two years of their being elected,” he said. “This will lessen our dependency on fossil fuels and make our energy situation more renewable and sustainable. This will ultimately lower utility costs for all.”
“The course of action of this current administration is one that tries to fix problems with solutions that are not permanent,” he said. “CUC wasn’t fixed with vouchers. The government is still deep in the hole with their CUC debt. Attracting tourists back to the CNMI—that’s equally a marketing issue as it is an infrastructure issue that must be addressed. Heinz and Ray understand that. They think in the long-term, not just how we can make it until tomorrow when the problems are still there.”
“Heinz and Ray are an energetic and vibrant team,” he continued. “Their legislative experience combined is in excess of 25 years. They know what it is to be at eye-level with the people. The legislative seats that they held, much like the one I hold, brings you closer to the concerns of the people.”
“I encourage my supporters and the rest of the people of the Marianas to vote for Heinz and Ray in this run-off election because we are in need of a clear thinking and strong leadership,” Deleon Guerrero said. (PR)
