The Philippine Consulate General is recommending several websites dealing with opportunities for small businesses in both public and private sectors as part of the Philippine government’s reintegration program for Filipino workers in the CNMI.

Consul General Medardo Macaraig said that several Filipino workers in the Commonwealth continue to show interest in livelihood opportunities in the Philippines

“The Philippine Consulate General hopes that, with these websites, Filipinos will find alternative sources of income to supplement the information and knowledge they have learned from the continuing series of seminars on Skills Upgrading and Livelihood in connection with the Reintegration Program for OFWs and the Gabay sa Negosyo videos,” said Macaraig.

These recommended livelihood websites are as follows:

-Department of Trade & Industry (www.dti.gov.ph);

-DTI-Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Publications (www.dti.gov.ph/dti/index.php?p=52);

-DTI-Business Ideas (www.dti.gov.pho/dti/index.php?p=594);

-Technology Resource Center (www.trc.dost.gov.ph);

-Philippine Trade Training Center (www.pttc.gov.ph);

-Entrepreneur Philippines (www.entrepreneur.com.ph);

-UP Institute of Small Scale Industries (http://entrepreneurship.org.ph);

-Philippine Franchise Association (www.pfa.org.ph); and

-Go Negosyo (www.gonegosyo.net).
