Three Sand Juvy teams have less than three weeks left to snatch the A division title from Naked Fish Ridin’ Darrty as the 2014 Spring-Fall season of the Bud Light Saipan Electronic Darts Association nears its end.

Ridin’ Darrty remained on top of the 10-team field with 116-71 win-loss slate, while the Sand Juvy Predators and sister team Outlawz are breathing down their necks at second and third spots. The Predators are holding on to a 114-73 or two wins behind the Ridin’ Darrty while the Outlawz are third at 113-74. The 101 Proofers, another Sand Juvy-backed squad, is in fourth with a 101-86 card and is mathematically still in the hunt for the division crown , but it must start winning lopsided matches and pray the three other teams above the standings lose theirs.

Ridin’ Darrty kept the top ranking following a 12-5 win over Sand Juvy Bud Brothers (5th, 90-97) while the Predators and Outlawz are withing striking distance after beating Smoke Pub Comatose (10th, 64-123), 13-4, and Hunters (No. 8, 84-103), 10-7, respectively.

The Proofers (No. 4, 101-86) downed Sand Juvy Sakude (No. No. 7, 85-102), 12-5, while Route 33 Mafia (No. 9, 81-106) edged sister team Mix Blood (No. 6, 87-100), 9-8, in other division A matches.

Results in the Tuesday division had the Smoke Pub Dartaholics posting a 12-3 win over the Sand Juvy Sparkz; the Jokers Xecutioners dumping Oleai Team Fearless, 10-5; the Smoke Pub Marupok and D’Mekaniks scoring similar 9-6 decisions against the Sand Juvy 22 Snipers and Smoke Pub High on Darts, respectively; and Jokers Dabarkads edging the Route33 Mixblood Shooters, 8-7.

In the Ladies division, the Naked Fish Dartin’ Divas drubbed Smoke Pub Ladies Bull-It, 11-4, the Sand Juvy Vicious Darties downed Route33 Avengers, 10-5, while the Smoke Pub Mixed Nutz escaped with an 8-7 decision over the Jokers G-Side Shooters.

The Destroyers tripped the TRA-Bull Makerz, 12-5, while Shoot Balut scored an easy 17-0 triumph after the Outlawz failed to show up in the Masters division.

In the Chichirika C division, the Smoke Pub Snipers clipped the Bull-It, 12-3; Poseidon Feelin’ Lucky trounced Sand Juvy Ta Chagi, 11-4; the Spartans drubbed VFW ‘Ombak’ Hit’em Up, 10-5; and the Jokers Disciples and Barcode Breakers pulled off similar 8-7 decisions over Joe’s DNA Jump It and Blue Koi’s, respectively.

Smoke Pub D’Mekaniks, VFW Warriors, and Mixedblood Shooters pulled off identical 10-5 wins over the 80 Proofers, Route 33 Bud Kings, and Sand Juvy No Fear, while Put3ska defeated Jokers Chagi Fan, 9-6 in the Fanihi division.

In the Flame Tree class, Naked Fish Na’Gupu and Jonny’s Kyodai eked out identical 8-7 wins over Smoke Pub Team Figan and Oneshot, while Joe’s Serial Killaz and Jokers Warriors defeated Sand Juvy Team Dart Balas and Ridin’ Darrty, respectively in similar scores, 9-6.

The league will stretch for four more weeks as matches will continue to the season-ending Bud Light Cup. Other divisions, like the Masters, are expected to end by late November or early December.

The awards ceremony will be held on Jan. 25 after the Bud Light Cup. (Jon Perez)
