CCA, Hard Rock partner for a smashing ‘Pinktober’

The Commonwealth Cancer Association, in partnership with Hard Rock Café Saipan, thanks the community for making the Pinktober fundraising held on Oct. 24, 2014, at the Hard Rock Café a success. The annual Pinktober event is one of Hard Rock Café’s Global Rock Breast Cancer Awareness and Benefit Charities, wherein CCA is the benefactor. The Hard Rock Café’s motto—“The answer is out there, together we’ll find it”—speaks directly to their Pinktober efforts.

The CCA thanked the followings partners for their donations and support: T Galleria Saipan, Delta Air Lines, MarPac, Century Tours, IT&E, Hard Rock Café Saipan, Mariana Resort & Spa, Docomo Pacific, MarPac, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Pacific Islands Club, Island Apparel, and Tan Holdings. The event was also highlighted with entertainment featuring Walden and Violy, Parker Yobei, Al Saures and Rodney Ilo, The Flow Band Mantarays, Josh Castro and Project Blues.

The CCA also thanks the following individuals that helped sold tickets, to those that bought tickets, and our volunteers for the event. This is one of the events that reaffirms our commitment to raise awareness about breast cancer, help raise funds for CCA programs and services and see opportunities to distribute fact sheets about breast cancer, said Lauri. “As a community, we can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. And as a community, we come together to show our resolve in conquering this tragic disease.
