Dear fellow voters of the CNMI

As I write this letter, we are counting four days and some hours to cast our votes. As I close my eyes at night, I can hear my heart beat and I wonder why. After so many prayers and meditations, I finally realized that the future of the CNMI lies in the hands of the voters. The future of my children lies in the hands of almost 18,000 people.

My dear brothers and sisters of this beautiful Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, open your eyes and ears. Look at all these people talking about the governor’s health or Sen. Torres’ age. They have no vision for the future of the CNMI nor do they care enough to tell us what they would do differently if elected. The reason is simple—our Commonwealth is doing well and we have Gov. Inos, Sen. Ralph Torres, and Speaker Guerrero to thank for this.

I am only a high school graduate. I did not go to college but, like Einstein, I have common sense. So let me share my opinion. The Honorable Eloy S. Inos has held up his head and stood high for all of us. His strengths are his humility and intelligence. Unlike the others, I have never heard him blame anyone for the problems we face today. What he did was recognize the problems and try to find solutions to the problems.

We, the people of the CNMI, are just so fortunate that our governor has chosen another strong-minded individual to be on his side, left or right! Sen. Ralph DLG. Torres is the best person to work hand in hand with our governor, to improve upon the solutions they have already enacted and continue to work together with the people to make our islands stronger.

They have steered our boat and it did not sink. Although the boat was punctured with holes, they found the ways and means to stop the leak and patch those holes. Yesterday, I sailed with them and we sailed through the rough seas and they never allowed the boat to sink. This Tuesday, I am scheduling my next voyage with them for four years. For our future, the future of our children and the future of the CNMI, hop on the ship of Gov. Eloy S. Inos and Sen. Ralph DLG. Torres. It rocks but it will never sink.

On Nov. 4, 2014, for you, our children and our CNMI, please elect Gov. Eloy S. Inos and Sen. Ralph DLG. Torres. Be a part of it!
