Takagi & Associates, Inc. donated $5,000 for one of the hole-in-one prizes in the 2014 Steven Brownstein/Saipan Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic that will be held on Oct. 11 at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort.

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce extends its appreciation to Takagi & Associates as one of its consistent supporters. Additional hole-in-one opportunities include $5,000 from Pacifica Insurance, a 2014 Ford Fiesta from Joeten Motors, and a 2014 Hyundai Elantra GLS. Participants can also win prizes in the closest-to-the-pin and longest drive contest.

Registration forms are now available at the Saipan Chamber of Commerce office, at Lao Lao Bay Golf Resort and on the Chamber website (www.saipanchamber.com). A limited number of slots remain. The Chamber is encouraging players to join the weekend event, as funds that will be raised from the tournament will support its scholarship program, monthly training seminars, and other community based projects. In June 2014, five scholarships worth $2,000 each were awarded to deserving high school seniors, and one $2,000 scholarship to an NMTI student.

This year’s Steven Brownstein/Saipan Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic will implement a two-person scramble format. The entry fee is only $100. Cash prizes will be given to the Top 3 finishers in different categories: men’s low gross, men’s low net (double Peoria), and women’s low net (double Peoria). The champion will get $800, while $500 and $300 will be awarded to the second and third place finishers.

Fabulous raffle prizes will also be awarded during the banquet at the end of the tournament. The Chamber has collected over $16,000 worth of raffle prizes and giveaways. The Chamber is pleased to have the support of its generous members and looks forward to offering new programs to enhance the business community on Saipan in the upcoming year.
