Fans go crazy for Spawnbreezie, Tenelle, Beachboy, Boomer

The United Nesia Fest 3 on Friday night drew hundreds to the beachside of Fiesta Resort & Spa, all wanting to see the performances of headliners Spawnbreezie, Beachboy, Tenelle, and Chris Boomer.

With local performers doing opening act routines, the special performances by the imported talents had the fans going crazy—screaming out the performers’ names or taking videos of their acts.

Despite the heat and rain, the concert lasted close to 11pm. Many of the singers’ popular songs had the audience dancing and singing along. Spawnbreezie, Beachboy, and Tenelle had young teenagers rushing toward the stage to reach out to the three performers.

Local talents Marvin Deleon Guerrero and Amber Mendiola, Tom Basa Jr. and the Marianas Project, and Latte Vibes started off the crowd with island tunes.

Chris Boomer, who performed with a ukulele player, drew loud shouts and cheers when he strode on stage with his guitar.

Beachboy drew nonstop attention from the women in the crowd, Tenelle mesmerized the crowd with her melodious voice, while Spawnbreezie hyped the crowd with his unique vocals and hits.

Along with the performances, food, and drinks, the concert also had a raffle of prizes provided by United Nesia Fest’s major sponsor, IT&E, that included Blue Dash 4G capable phones and battery packs. Tickets were sold at $1.

United Nesia Marianas Chapter president Rob Travilla said the turnout was great and surpassed all his expectations.

“My company is a proud partner of the United Nesia and we had actually started this in 2011 with Island Trybe performing and Tribal Theory in 2012,” he said.

For next year, Travilla said there are already artists in his radar, including the Green, J Boog, and Rebel Souljahz.

Spawnbreezie, Beachboy and Tenelle later told Saipan Tribune that they want to return because the crowd was amazing.

“I definitely would return. I am very humbled with all the fans that came out today and I would come here every week if I could,” Tenelle said.

“I had the time of my life, I love Saipan, and honestly the crowd was crazy and fun. I’ve never felt this feeling my whole life and being out here today, I love them all,” Beachboy said.

Spawnbreezie thanked the people who came out to watch the performances, saying he would love to be back on Saipan again.

“I had a great time. The people here were great, the island is beautiful, I love Saipan. I hope to visit again and perform for the people of the CNMI,” Spawnbreezie said.

“I am very overwhelmed and lost for words. I want to thank every single person that bought tickets, lined up for the tickets, waited and sacrificed to get out here today. I want to thank my sponsors and hope that this will open up the door to new sponsors for this event next year,” Travilla said.
