JKPL to host ukulele class for beginners

Ukulele class for beginners is open for registration at the Joeten Kiyu Public Library.

The class will be taught every Thursday for eight sessions from Oct. 16 to Dec. 4. It will be from 4pm to 5pm.

The class is open to anyone who is interested in learning how to play the ukulele.

The minimum age requirement is 8 years old. Adults are welcome. A $50 prepayment is required.

Students must provide their own ukuleles and a folder to hold music sheets and parents or guardians must sign a liability waiver form on behalf of their participating children who are minors and also must adhere to the public library policies and procedures.

Deadline to register is on Oct. 11 and it is on a first come, first paid basis. The minimum enrollment is 15 students and maximum is 40.
