Customs prevailed in the league opener, beating Commonwealth Health Center last Monday, 61-28, while NMSA also cruised past the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs in the second match of the kick-off day, 56-46.

Camacho hit back-to-back triples in the third and added 9 more points, while Camacho chipped in 7. Ronnel Gamboa and John Ogarto also joined the scoring fray to support Apelo and Camacho’s game-long brilliance. Apelo scattered 19 points, while Camacho finished with 18 markers, and Gamboa and John Ogarto scored 12 each.
Tony Diaz paced CUC’s losing cause with 18 points and failed to get scoring support from his teammates.
