The first ever Marianas Indigenous Conference, organized by Northern Marianas Descent Corp., will be streamed live online so that those who are unable to attend can watch the event from their homes or wherever they have an Internet connection.

Conference topics include: “The Covenant and Decolonization,” “Lessons Learned from Federalization,” “Article 12,” “Submerged Lands,” and “Indigenous Language and Cultural Preservation.”

The conference will be held from 7:30pm to 4:30pm on Sept. 29 to Sept 30. To watch the live stream, visit http://www.ustream.tv/channel/cnmi-indigenous-conference-2014. The live streaming is made available with the assistance of the Northern Marianas College’s IT Department and IT&E. (PR)
