Golf/dinner fundraiser cancelled
The Committee to Re-Elect Christopher D. Leon Guerrero would like to inform all ticket holders for the golf/dinner fundraiser scheduled on Sept. 28 has been postponed until further notice. Should you have any questions, call committee chair Luis Kapileo at 285-4260. (PR)

BECQ sets Makaka Beach cleanup
The Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality’s Cleanup Brigade will be picking up trash at Makaka Beach on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at 8am. If you would like to volunteer, meet the BECQ representatives on Saturday at the Makaka Beach area/parking lot at 8am. Volunteers will split into groups and clean until 10am and break for drinks and then continue, if needed. For more information about volunteering, contact the BECQ office at 664-8500/1. (BECQ)
