Okay, for the sake of argument, let’s say (lol) you’re not a “racist.” The fact is that you are attacking an individual who is of Chinese descent and placing him on this pedestal as an individual who is taking down the government and “owns” most of the CNMI! And you say I’m wearing this “veil of ignorance.” Did you even read what I wrote? I mean, come on! What do you use that thing between your ears for?

Also, you wrote what you “heard and believe.” So your comments are based purely on hearsay, lies, and conjecture. Circumstantial or rather, third party info from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from the wife of a friend who is the wife of one of the guys she’s doinking. Why write anything at all if all you care about is if your readers believe you or not? It would be more constructive if you wrote to express an educated opinion regarding the state of current affairs and possibly a solution.

Maybe one day you’ll find the time to go to the Court Recorder’s office and do some actual research to substantiate all the claims you’ve heard. All the info is there if you’d just take the time to substantiate your outrageous claims!

Also, your “racist” remark that maybe because most of the current investors are Chinese and Best Sunshine is from China, I should connect the dots. Do you still buy “Painting by Numbers” and claim that this is the picture you painted because you colored the numbered sections and didn’t go outside the lines? When you say “Big Financial Monster” and you put the word “Chinese” in front of it, that’s “racism”!

I particularly like the “greed” claim. Every businessman or woman, or those who have their own businesses, are “greedy” in that they set up their businesses to hopefully make enough money to either pass on to their children or create a better life! Isn’t that the American Dream? To own and operate a successful business that could make them rich? Oh, wait. You wouldn’t know anything about that because you’ve never had one. Tell me you wouldn’t want to be P. Diddy but we’ll be using the pseudonym “Big Mouthy.”

The truth is that most of all the current investors in the CNMI, which, considering our current financial crisis, are of Asian descent.

Tan Holdings is a very successful family-owned business that, for the most part, was built from the ground up. Even after all the garment factories folded up and left town, many with ongoing labor cases and workers who had no place to go, were ripped off by their employers. Tan Holdings stayed and decided to increase their non-garment holdings by venturing into tourism and purchasing hotels and opening a tour company. It invested in the local people by foraying into an uncertain new industry, tourism.

Now this is where you should have done your homework, Ambrose. You yourself tried to climb onboard the only thing we have left, tourism!

I, for one, know most of the facts of how Tan Holdings came to be and one thing is definitely true is that the family knows how to start, operate, and build a successful company. They know the importance of hard work!

Dr. Tan Siu Lin, the patriarch of the family, instilled in his children, the importance of education and hard work. He didn’t hand over the “keys to the kingdom” as some people think. He made them work hard but also to work smart.

Now this is funny. “I don’t have to do any research on Tan Holdings. It’s common knowledge.” Who edjimacated you, Ambrose?

“His pockets are full of money he made and is still making here in the CNMI but we are still suffering!” Since when is it anybody’s responsibility to save us from ourselves? Are you actually hearing yourself? You missed your calling. You should be doing stand-up because you are hilarious!

Political connections? All of us have political connections. I have many! Except mine just happen to be friends who were voted by the people to be tasked to look after our best interests. Don’t you have friends who are elected officials?

Oh, by the way, Sister Theresa was actually Mother Theresa and she gave all of herself. She is the perfect example of human decency who also looked for the good in people, unlike you, slinking in the background like the snake you are, looking for anything and everything that you can use to see your name in print. However, her contributions were of the heart and brought out the injustice to the soul. She is saintly and should not be used as an indicator to spruce up your diatribe.

You are truly a ridiculous man. You’re saying that any businessman should put the people first before himself and his family. It’s one thing to be a liberal, it’s another thing to allow a man to spread propaganda about others hoping that his “foot in mouth” Hail Mary speech.

I have never endorsed anyone for political office in the media. All I am doing is speaking out for my friends, who you don’t know and never will. You are not in “our” class. You are a ridiculous little man who has way too much time on his hands so instead of doing something constructive in your retirement, you choose to inflame the masses with your diatribe and conjecture, insulting people who won’t respond to you directly because they’re too busy working, making money, doing things constructive to help our people, be it through donations or as elected public servants.
