8 sign up for ‘Pinoy Super Dad’
Eight fathers have joined the United Filipino Organizations’ “Pinoy Super Dad” competition that will be held in December.
UFO is still accepting participants for the event featuring fathers and the target date of the contest is on Dec. 13 or Dec. 14 at the Saipan World Resort.
“We are looking for 16 contestants and we are encouraging companies to at least let their employees join the contest, knowing if they will support the event, those employees will feel more confident due to company’s support,” UFO president Annamae Adaza said.
“It’s about time for our daddies, papas, tatay [the Tagalog word for father] to show us what they’ve got,”Adaza said in an earlier statement.
The competition is open to all fathers with ages 25 to 45.
Deadline for accepting applicants will be Sept. 28, 2014.
Adaza also said they are also looking for donors and sponsors who wish to help out for the event.
Fathers will be competing in the following categories: production number, talent portion, formal wear, and question-and-answer portion.
Prizes are $800 for first place, $500 for second, $300 for third, $200 for fourth, and $100 for fifth.
“All participants will receive certificates of participation and other consolation prizes,” Adaza said.
