The singer will be the headline act for the third installment of the United Nesia Fest concert series, taking place on Oct. 3, 2014, on the hotel’s sands for the second straight year.
Spawnbreezie, a singer based out of Independence, Missouri, but a Pacific island native, has been on the music scene for the last decade and has released three albums that have all garnered him fans all over the world, most especially with island expatriates, with such hits as Oh My Goodness, Fangai Lupe, and the much requested I’m In Love heavily played on radio stations both terrestrial and via online streaming. The artist is also on tour actively promoting his new album, “Sincerely Dizzo,” which includes the first single off of it, All Alone.
The singer, according to manager Frank Aguon, has expressed great excitement in coming to a part of the Pacific he has not visited, whose itinerary also includes stopovers in Guam and on Tinian. In a video recently posted online, Spawnbreezie mentioned his appreciation to all his fans in the Marianas, saying, “I want to send a big ‘thank you’ to all the fans, and all the promoters and supporters that are giving me the opportunity to go out there to perform for all of you beautiful people. It’s been a long time coming, it’s long overdue and I’m excited. Thank you for having me. I appreciate you guys very much and I’ll see you soon!”
The concert starts at 6pm, and will also feature local talents such as Marvin Deleon Guerrero, Tom Basa Jr. & the Marianas Project, and one of the CNMI’s most sought after bands, Latte Vibes. Tickets are going at an advance price of $22, and $26 if bought at the door on the show date, at Boarderline, and at IT&E.
According to United Nesia Marianas Chapter president Rob Travilla, tickets are going fast. “So far, we’ve gone through two batches of printed tickets for the show, and they’ve been flying out the doors fast. If I were you, I wouldn’t wait for tomorrow, get them today!” (PR)
