May 13 is the 13th “World Falun Dafa Day,” which also marks the 20th anniversary of the introduction of Falun Dafa to the public as well as the 61st birthday of Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong. On that day, Falun Gong practitioners all over the world will celebrate the occasion with exercises demonstration and truth-clarification at multiple sites, among other activities.

On Saipan, the Falun Gong will have a motorcade that will start at the parking lot of the American Memorial Park at 9:30am, with 12 vehicles participating. The route starts from AMP, will go straight to Middle Road and then head north, all the way to Banzai Cliff. Falun Gong practitioners will then demonstrate practical exercises, introduce Dafa, and perform truth-clarifications at the site until around 12:30pm. The group will then proceed to the Lindexuan Restaurant next to 99 Cents Supermarket on Middle Road for lunch.

The motorcade will resume around 2pm, traveling south along Middle Road and then will make a brief stopover at the area opposite the Modern Office Supply in San Jose. Falun Gong practitioners will again demonstrate and introduce their exercises to the public.

Around 4pm the motorcade will travel along Beach Road toward to Pacific Island Club and then head back to Garapan, ending up in the home of Falun Dafa, opposite the Bank of Saipan and next to the Family Building/Saipan Chamber of Commerce.

The Saipan Falun Dafa Association promises to strictly obey all traffic rules throughout the motorcade and coordinate all the vehicles in the group. It is requesting the assistance of Department of Public Safety, however, to help channel the traffic when the motorcade starts at 9:30am from the parking lot of the American Memorial Park. (PR)
