Delta donates two tickets to Chamber golf tournament
Delta Air Lines generously donated two roundtrip economy tickets to Honolulu/U.S. to the Saipan Chamber of Commerce for the golf tournament to be held next month. The lucky winners of these tickets will also receive Delta Air Lines logo items and memorabilia. The Chamber extends a huge thank you to Delta Air Lines for helping in such a grand way!
The funds raised by the tournament and raffle will support the Chamber’s Scholarship Program, monthly training seminars, and other community based projects.

In June 2014, five $2,000 scholarships were awarded to deserving high school seniors, and one $2,000 scholarship to an NMTI student.
This year’s annual Saipan Chamber of Commerce/Steven Brownstein Golf Classic will be held on Oct. 11 at LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort with a two-person scramble format. The entry fee for players will be $100. Cash prizes include first place, $800; second place, $500; and third place, $300 for the three categories: Men’s Low Gross, Men’s Low Net (double Peoria), and Women’s Low Net (double Peoria). There are four hole-in-one opportunities (two of which are for $5,000 each). Contests will also be held for closest-to-the-pin and longest drive.
Fabulous raffle prizes will be awarded during the banquet at the end of the tournament. As of Sept. 11, the Chamber has collected over $12,000 worth of prizes for the raffle to be held at the banquet after the tournament! More prizes are still being collected and we expect this will be the most exciting and profitable event yet.
