I am writing this simple letter for our elected leaders if there is a law pertaining to private companies doing work as a process server of court documents. This is with regards to a process server entering private property or going to workplaces to serve an individual court documents. I believe that it’s a form of harassment to be checking a client during work hours. There are times when coworkers or neighbors get to know the confidentiality of the issues because of how the server enters the privacy of a client. I think the proper way is for the company to send documents to the prospective client via their mailing address. I hope that something is done with this issue because there’s a lot of people that have the same problems of how the process server enters the private property or workplaces. I am asking you all lawmakers to please look into this matter because this is disturbing the peace and harassment of a citizen.
