The Northern Marianas Housing Corp. will be hosting a Housing Expo this Aug. 22 in celebration of its 20th founding anniversary at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe.

The expo will be from 9am to 6pm.

NMHC corporate director Jesse S. Palacios said the expo is open to everyone and would provide housing opportunities and outreach to the public.

It will showcase various NMHC projects throughout the CNMI, from home rehabilitation, new construction and rental programs, to housing tax credits and community development projects.

Palacios said it will also offer essential public networking opportunities to meet with key participants from all facets of the housing industry.

Key participants will include government agencies, private sector organizations, financing, insurance, brokers, appraisers, architects, contractors, title companies and suppliers—all of whom can help community members in buying and building a home.

“This housing expo will help community members know what to do in building a home, buying, housing, and also learn about regulatory agencies and permits,” Palacios said.

There will also be a proclamation signing this Friday at 10am for the 20th anniversary of NMHC at the Office of the Governor.
