Super Bowl Monday destinations

It’s Super Bowl Monday on Saipan and local hotels and watering holes hope to satisfy local gridiron fans’ appetite for American football by hosting their own Super Bowl parties.

Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks fans on island don’t need to travel to MetLife Stadium at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, to watch their teams duke it out for Super Bowl XLVII.

As an added bonus, local Super Bowl venues are offering tasty buffet spreads, all-you-can-drink beverages, and raffle prizes galore.

Naked Fish Bar & Cafe

In its first major event since moving to Susupe, the renamed Naked Fish Bar & Café is promising “big screens and great food and drinks” for their 2014 Bud Light Super Bowl Party.

The all-you-can-eat-and-drink event costs only $20 and doors open at 8am. Draft pitchers are also available for $12.

The first 50 guests will also get a 2014 Bud Light Super Bowl Party T-shirt and a chance to win up to $10,000 in cash. Other Super Bowl gear giveaways include canopies, coolies, and chairs.

Fiesta Resort & Spa

The Garapan landmark will host its own Super Bowl XLVII party at Chambre Bar. It costs $20 and includes breakfast buffet and two San Miguel beers. Guests also have a chance to win marvelous prizes.

PIC Saipan

Pacific Islands Club Saipan is inviting football fans to their self-styled Monday Grid Iron at Charley’s Cabaret.

Over $2,000 worth of prizes will be raffled off including new cell phones from Docomo, PIC Room Nights, and $500 cash.

Monday Grid Iron costs $25 for adults and $15 for children 4-11 years old. It includes The Magellan breakfast buffet, unlimited Miller beer and Pepsi, and Certified Angus Beef sliders courtesy of Triple J.

Touchdown Monday at its Red Box outlet is what Saipan World Resort is offering to local gridiron fans.

Entry fee is $20 and includes bottomless San Miguel beer and San Miguel Light, Pepsi, and breakfast and Rush Hour Lunch.

Great prizes will also be raffled off from Touchdown Monday sponsors Docomo Pacific, San Miguel, and Saipan World Resort.
