Mini book sale at JKPL
Joeten-Kiyu Public Library is currently having a mini book sale at the state library’s premises in Susupe.
JKPL circulations supervisor Ray Deleon Guerrero said the mini book sale is disposing of books ranging from adult non-fiction, adult fiction, paperback books, biographies, Asian books (Japanese, Chinese, and Korean books), as well as videos.
He said paperback and soft cover books could be had for a low as $1 each, which is the same price for hardback non-fiction books. Hardback fiction books, meanwhile, are being sold for $3. CDs and DVDs are retailing also for only $1.
In addition to books and videos, JKPL is also selling quite a number of magazines from two years ago for a mere 10 cents a copy.
The magazine titles being sold include Better Homes and Gardens, Bicycling, BRIDES, Consumer Reports, Crafts N’ Things, Diabetic Living, Entertainment Weekly, Family Handyman, Golf Digest, Good Housekeeping, Islands, Just CrossStitch, Ladies Home Journal, Martha Stewart LIVING, Men’s Health, Men’s Journal, Natural Health, People Weekly, Reader’s Digest, Redbook, Rolling Stone, Runner’s World, Seventeen, Sports Illustrated, Successful Farming, Vegetarian Times, Vanity Fair, VOGUE, and Weight Watchers.
