Rome Bishop Enrico dal Covolo in Guam

[B]YONA, Guam[/B]—Most Rev. Bishop Enrico dal Covolo, SDB, rector of the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome, is in Guam, making his first official visit to the Blessed Diego Luis de San Vitores Catholic Theological Institute for Oceania located at the Redemptoris Mater Archdiocesan Missionary Seminary of Guam in Yona from December 21 to 29, 2013.

Most Rev. Archbishop Anthony Sablan Apuron, OFM Cap. D.D., erected Guam’s first local seminary in 1999 and a year later in 2000, the Blessed Diego Luis de San Vitores Catholic Theological Institute for Oceania received its affiliation to the Pontifical Lateran University, commonly known as “The Pope’s University” in Rome.

Bishop dal Covolo concelebrated Sunday Mass at the Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral Basilica in Hagatna with Archbishop Anthony Sablan Apuron on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at 9:30am. A welcoming brunch soon followed at the Governor’s House in Agana Heights beginning at 10:30am. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B]
