MIFICPA officers inducted
The Marianas Institute of Filipino Certified Public Accountants, MIFICPA, inducted its newly elected officers and board of directors on Dec. 7, 2013, at the Sunshine Garden Restaurant at Susupe. One of its founding members, Jun Banadera, was the inducting officer.
MIFICPA is the organization of Filipino certified public accountants in the CNMI. It aims to provide the necessary means of uplifting and improving the standard of proficiency of Filipino CPAs in the CNMI. It also seeks to promote brotherhood among Filipino CPAs working in the CNMI.
The organization’s activities include providing accounting and tax trainings to various individuals and institutions.
The organization was founded in 1994 and will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2014.
The new officers are Olive Aninon, president; Eloisa Agustin, Vice President – Internal; Aileen Indino, Vice President – External; Elisa dela Pacion, Secretary; Angie Mamaril, Assistant Secretary; Bebilyn Harris, Treasurer; Evelyn Armia, Assistant Treasurer; Cris Bucalig, Public Relations Officer; Efren Casamina, Business Manager; and Edgar Genobaten, Auditor.
The new board of directors is composed of Noli Santos, Rosemarie Taniegra, Lei Hicaro, Anabelle Lubi, Irene Santiago, Gerry de Guzman, and Jun Banadera.
